# Ask an AI Assistant

You can ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another AI assistant questions about HolyCRM, and it
will answer from this Help Center instead of guessing. It's handy when you'd rather ask
*"how do I schedule volunteers for Sunday?"* than search through guides yourself.

Copy the prompt below, paste it into your AI assistant, and replace the question at the end
with your own:

The link is important: it points the assistant to every guide in one file. If you just ask
*"how does HolyCRM work?"* without it, the assistant may make up buttons or steps that don't
exist.

## Tips

- **Ask follow-up questions.** Once the assistant has read the guides, you can keep asking in
  the same conversation — *"and how do volunteers see their schedule?"*
- **Ask in your language.** The guides are also available in Spanish and Portuguese; switch
  the Help Center's language to see the prompt for yours.
- **Double-check important steps.** AI assistants can still get things wrong. If an answer
  doesn't match what you see in the app, trust the app and this Help Center.
- **If it says it can't open the link, don't trust the rest of the answer.** Some assistants
  can't read web links at all, but answer anyway with made-up steps. Claude and ChatGPT
  usually read the link; if yours doesn't, try one of those, or open the link yourself and
  paste the text into the chat.

## Keep your church's data private

This only shares the public Help Center with the assistant — never your church's data.
Don't paste names, phone numbers, giving records or other personal details of your members
into an AI tool. See [Data & Privacy](#/data-privacy).

To ask about your church's own data (visitors, groups, events), an Administrator can turn on
[AI assistants](#/ai-assistants): then the assistant reads HolyCRM with your permissions
instead of you pasting anything.
